Last week we received "official" word that Elder Yoder has been reassigned to the Portugal Porto Mission effective July 2015.
The original mission president that was called to serve ended up having some health issues, so last minute a new Mission President (Amorim) and his wife were assigned to serve in the new Portugal Porto mission. Here is a link to a letter introducing their family to all the missionaries and their families. They are originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and are both converts to the church. President Amorim's younger brother was the mission president of the Portugal Lisbon mission 2003-2006. Everyone is excited about the new mission and mission president!
