I forgot to mention last week, we had the groundbreaking for the Lisbon Temple. That was pretty legit. The members loved it of course :)
The locals say around here that Castelo Branco has three seasons. Summer, Winter, and the train station!!! :D Hahaha! Oh wait... it aint funny in enlgish. The word "season" and "station" are the same word in Portuguese, so, it makes sense in Portuguese. Anyways, its getting kinda chilly here, but it hasnt been too bad. My comp is suffering though. He is from an insland, so he has never seen cold like this before :)
This week was pretty good. We found some new people, and some old investigators too :) We talked with Ravi a couple times this week, and we are prettty close to marking him for baptism :) He is going to talk to his dad soon about it, but I am sure his dad will say yes. Our goal is too teach the whole family, and baptize the whole family, but we might just start with him.
Weekly planning got through out of wack because the church had someone come in and put in interent in the chapel, so we had to go open it, and stay there while that was going on. But this next week should still be good.
We are also teaching a diferente Cabo Verdiana family. Natalicio, Marialina, and they have a daughter of 2-3 years. They have a little interest, but are really busy.
We found a guy named Rui on Saturday. He smokes a ton, and his house just reeked. It was na intersting environment. But maybe we will turn his life around :)
Today, we are having a district Pday with the Elders from Covilhã! They actually came here last night, and slept here, and we went out to a mall called "Forum" looked at some stores, and we ate a pizza hut buffet. That was pretty good, but I was stuffed by the end :) Unfortunately, it is raining, so some of our plans got thrown out the window :( But they will sleep here again tonight, we will have District Meeting tomorrow, and a division with them as well :)
Love you all. Castelo Branco is all dressed up in Christmas lights. It is legit. They also have a "Christmas Market" where people are selling some cool hand maid stuff. But it is only on the weekends, so maybe I'll buy something, maybe not. Also, they have a ferris wheel. We wanted to ride that today, but it is raining. Castelo Branco is legit. Dont got a lot of time, so I gotta talk to my mom about skyping home for Christmas ;) Feliz Natal!
