I am enjoying a beautiful winter here in Portugal. It has been sunny and 70s all week long. Only when the sun disappears behind the mountain is when it gets cold :)

This week was alright. Kinda slow, like the rest have been this transfer. But not letting Satan ruin my day! One of the biggest problems here in Portugal (and porbably the rest of Europe), is trying to find people to teach.
last Pday. We had plans to visit some ex-investigators who wanted us to return. When we showed they had forgotten, so we remarked for Tuesday.
Tuesday. District Meeting in Covilhã. Then later that night we hadour lesson with these investigators. They are Alexandra and João (diferente João). They are nice, like all Portuguese people after you get to know them. After teaching and talking, we learned that Alexandra thinks that everybody has some truth, and therefore, doesnt need to "change religions." A lot of people are like that here. Which, confuses the heck out of me, because if they really knew, like really knew, what we teach and what others teach, they would see the difference. But her husband João, loves us! And he is Reading the book of mórmon a lot! So maybe there is some potential there. After that we visited a member family, and did something called, "Listao" with them. Listao, is something that our President gave us as a way to work with the members better, Basically, you go in, and everyone writes down all the names of the people the know. Then, in a later appointment, we pray with the members, and make plans for the names that came to ours minds during the prayer. It is a pretty cool idea. Unfortunately, this family didnt really want to help out that much. We got about 20 names off them. But we will follow through, and help them with what they got.
Wednesday, was actually a cool day :) During our contacting we met this one guy named João Camilo. (Yes, a lot of men here are named João). Anyway, he is/was a professor of Portuguse Literature at UC Santa Barbara. So that was cool. He said he many mórmon students, and absolutely loved them. YAY! Someone has good impression of the church through good exemples! Anyway, he gave us some books in Portugese, so I guess I'll read it after the missino :) #missionrules :)
Thursday, Another day of passing around people that werent home and stuff. That basically describes friday and saturday.
Although, on friday, during our weekly planning, our recente convert João, called us and just wanted to talk. He was just saying sorry for being really busy and not meeting with us. (He hasnt been to church at all this month!). He got a girlfriend in October, but now their are broken-up. Somehow, thousands of miles away from home, I am dealing with "high school drama" Haha! :) but it was all good :) I love that guy :)
And on one of those days we hung out with a less active named Antonio! He knows like all the Elders that have every served here. We have a lunch appointment with him today, so I'll get a picture with him.
Sunday. Church was good :) We had 2 eternigators at church today. Actually, they are from a part-member family, so maybe we will try to teach them. i am sure they have heard everything though :/
I would love write a BIG testimony on the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith, but I dont got time. Basically, the Book of Mormon is true and Joseph is a prophet, or its not true, and Joseph is a crazy lunatic. It is one or the other. And we ALL have to arrive at the point and decide. So you better decide now and stick with it! :)
