This past weekend there was a Youth Conference for the youth of 3 stakes. So last night we talked with two of the youth that went. They said they loved it! :) These two are also Recent Converts, so that is good! One of them, Kelly, a 17 year old young women, said that she loved our Mission President's talk. Of course, President Amorim is a boss, has a deep manly voice, and he is from Brazil. But he also has amazing mission stories that he shares with us. Anyways, basically, she wants to go on a mission! Yes! One more missionary in the force! :) Her brother, Carlos, also said he liked it. That is also good, because, like every other 14 year old young man, church isn't the most exciting thing in the world ;) He also said that there were cute girls there! Haha, of course! :)
We are also receiving a new family that is moving to our ward here in Aveiro! Yes! Another family, it is exactly what this ward needs! :) They have a 14 year old daughter, and a 16 year old son! So other potential missionary! :)
These people are still very funny, especially the old ladies. They are really sassy :) And in Portuguese, sass is really funny! :) Love talking to the people. They always have something to say about life :)
Today we had a District Pday! We went and saw the sites in Coimbra! We went to their University, which is like 500 years old! Got some awesome pics, but I'll have to send them next week! :) Was a good day! :)
Life will keep on keeping on! I am happy, so all is well, dont worry about me! :) I hope everyone is enjoying Boise. Or wherever you happen to find your self! :) The "Standard Works Marathon" is going alright. It is hard to read it in Portuguese, and often find myself reading in English. Genesis is pretty intense, and it feels more like a story than scripture! Haha :)
Até aproxima semana! :)
